Visitors will step back into time and be transported to the Victorian age as you uncover the history, folklore, and tumultuous past of The Pinc. The Pinc welcomes you to visit the property, whether to explore the house and snap some pictures or walk through our grounds and kinetic sculpture garden.
We also offer guided tours and school field trips, led by docents clad in authentic Victorian garb. They will accompany you throughout the entire home as you explore the parlor, drawing room, scullery, bedrooms, gardens, and more. The functionality of each room in the mansion teaches us quite a bit about the Victorians’ daily lifestyle, culture, and societal norms.
Join us for a cup of tea or a glass of champagne and a cheese plate in the Pinc Bubble Lounge. You can meander through our museum, gaze through the stained glass windows, and shop for a special gift in the Pinc Mercantile. Our pace is slow and relaxed here, just as it should be.
The Pinc is a privately-owned educational and cultural center. However, if you are so inclined, we thank you for your support of the mansion, and there is a donation box available by the front door. Visitors are welcome to make a reservation for a timeslot in 30-minute increments.
Would you like to learn more about the hardworking people of this time, their dedication to craftsmanship, and their pride in their work? Are you interested in how families cooked, baked, and made resourceful meals from scratch in Victorian kitchens? The Pinc will be offering classes about Victorian architecture, old-world culinary arts, and more; stay tuned for our upcoming schedule.
Want to take your students’ experience to the next level during their field trip? Ask us about Victorian-era crafts, scavenger hunts, and even a snack-time reminiscent of the 1800s when you book your tour. Learn about how Victorians cultivated their surroundings to provide fresh and wholesome foods for their families – students can even pick their own tea leaves in our garden.
